COD Cares is a campus-wide program for students and staff to participate together in service activities that benefit communities served by College of DuPage.
Why does COD Care?
Residents of District 502 graciously support College of DuPage. They believe in our mission to be a center for excellence in teaching, learning, and cultural experiences. This show of faith and giving to College of DuPage is a good reminder that, beyond our normal duties, it is valuable to find new and different ways to give back.
"Roll Up Your Sleeves" Service Day will take place Tuesday, September 11. In partnership with Team NM, Northwestern Medicine's employee-based volunteer program, COD faculty, staff, and students will head to surprise locations to put in a good day's work, then return to campus for lunch and to share experiences.
It only takes half of a day to make a whole lot of difference when you're part of a team. Volunteers will be cleaning, painting, sorting and restoring at local nonprofit organizations such as schools, nature centers, recycling centers and food pantries.
So roll up your sleeves, dress for a mess and jump into the first COD Cares activity of the semester!
