Description of Organization:
Residential Hospice provides a team of specially-trained professionals and volunteers to provide care, comfort, support and dignity to patients and families when their illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. Residential Hospice's objective is caring, not curing, helping patients and their families focus their energy on the things that matter most.
Description of Service Learner Role:
Service Learner's play an important role at Residential Hospice, providing a wide range of support services that make a world of difference for patients and caregivers. There are many ways one can get involved throughout the course of care, including companionship, creative expression, a supportive presence, and bereavement support
