Project CARE is an academic mentoring program that works with students Pre-K through 8th grade in areas of Reading or Math. Mentors are asked to volunteer a minimum of 1 hour, 1 day per week to work with a classroom teacher. The classroom teacher will create a lesson plan to have the mentor work with the students either one-on-one, small group or the whole class.
Volunteers must fill out a background check specific to District 2. We ask that all volunteers bring a valid drivers license in order for us to complete the background check and provide the volunteer with a security badge.
