Each semester, around 31,000 students attend College of DuPage. College of DuPage enrolls 22 percent of all high school graduates from its district. The Glen Ellyn campus covers 273 acres and has nine major buildings. The Glen Ellyn campus is currently undergoing a major renovation through the Facilities Master Plan. C.O.D. awards seven associates degrees through 45 occupational and 45 pre-baccalaureate programs. Roughly 20 percent of students attending C.O.D. already possess a bachelor's degree or higher. Initial purchase price of C.O.D. land was $2 million. The current replacement cost is more than $137 million. The college has a total of 7,217 parking spaces on campus in Glen Ellyn. The College of DuPage Library maintains a collection of 203,500 books, 312,500 microfiche, 21,500 video recordings (VHS and DVD), 13,500 sound recordings (CDs), 987 current periodical subscriptions (6,400 bound periodical back files), and 30 newspapers. There are 66 student clubs and organizations
on campus.
