College of DuPage Mission
The mission of College of DuPage is to be at the forefront of higher education, serving the needs of the community. The college will be the first place residents turn to for the highest quality education and cultural opportunities. The college will serve as a model of distinction for the community college education.

To achieve this mission, the college will: Offer programs that educate students for responsible citizenship, civility and mutual respect in a multicultural and global society.

Service Learning Mission Statement
The Service Learning program at College of DuPage works to develop service-learning projects that provide students with an enriching academic experience as they discover the importance and intrinsic value of serving others in their community.

Service Learning Program
• Provides service-learning tools, resources and information for students, faculty members and community organizations.
• Encourages student involvement in service projects that address the expressed needs of their community.
• Fosters personal growth, career development and academic achievement.
• Promotes respect for diversity as well as a common bond with those in need.
