• Register and view position listings on COD’s College Central Network (CCN). Apply for all opportunities that interest you related to your field of study. Download information on using CCN here.

• Research opportunities and network… Talk to people about your area of interest and ask for advice and referrals. Most people are willing to help you if you’ve done your homework and are sincere about finding an internship.

• The COD Library website features a Job, Career & College Information section that includes job information, job listing sites, personal agent sites, company information, salary surveys and more.

Reference USA is another useful online source that can be accessed through the COD Library website.  Ask a COD librarian for assistance in using library resources effectively.

• Contact organizations and make a proposal for work-based learning.  Download ideas for making an make an internship proposal here.

• Turn your present job into a cooperative education experience, if new learning can be introduced under the direction of a faculty adviser. Ask a Co-op/Internship staff member about this option.
