How do I get started?

• Determine your internship goals:
   • What aspect of your field of study intrigues you?
   • What do you want to learn or experience?
   • What specific skills and Abilities do you have to offer?
   • What type of environment or industry appeals to you?

If you are uncertain of your career direction, call (630) 942-2259 for a counseling appointment or take a computerized assessment available through the C.O.D. Library website.

• A Co-op/Internship Program staff member will refer you to a COD instructor for assistance and guidance.

• It is your responsibility to find a position.
