Judy McGah
Career Specialist

Judith McGah joined the Career Services Center as a Career Specialist at College of DuPage in 1998. Previous employment includes over twenty years with the Illinois Department of Employment Security, initially as an Adjudicator, and later as a Service Representative/Career Counselor. Judy also served as a legislative assistant to an Illinois State Representative, managing his home office. While with the Ray Graham Association, Judy was a Public Relations representative, event planner and volunteer coordinator.

While employed with the State of Illinois, she initiated and facilitated the Bensenville Library Job Club for persons in transition. Judy also assisted UPS in screening job applicants, which she also did for the Oakbrook Hills and Marriott OakBrook hotels. In addition, she collaborated with the Workforce Development agency in helping unemployed clients regain employment.
Judy has participated in numerous career related activities. She was a founding and former board member of the Naperville Community Career Center and has given career seminars at IETC, Village of Addison monthly job fairs and St Joseph the Worker support group; as well as other local support groups.

Judy received a Bachelors Degree from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, with a History major and a minor in Education. She has completed one half of the requirements towards an advanced degree with emphasis in remedial reading
