Audrey Walker
Career Specialist
Ms. Walker is a Career Specialist in the Career Services
department at College of DuPage. Prior to joining the staff at C.O.D.,
she worked for Sears Roebuck and Company for 17 years, first as Controller
of the Merchandise Laboratory, and then as a Human Resource Manager.
She is also a HR Consultant specializing in coaching, training, and
mentoring.
She has taught at Harold Washington College, and taught and served as
an Administrator in the New York City Public school system.
She holds a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision
from Pace University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Hunter College
in NYC.
Her civic involvement includes past Chair of the Board of Directors
of Family Focus, Member of the Board of Directors of Inspired Partnerships,
Past Chair of the Program committee for the Salvation Army Advisory
Board of which she is still a member, and past Secretary of the Board
of Directors for the DuPage County Council of Girl Scouts. She has also
served on several other Advisory boards, and is past President of the
West Towns. Illinois chapter of Links, Inc. She is a member of Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority.
