In the Math Assistance Area, C.O.D. math students may obtain one-to-one help from math instructors regarding problems students encounter while doing homework.
The Math Assistance Area is staffed with instructors who are available to answer questions about Mathematics 0460 through Mathematics 2232. If a student is taking a more specialized course, such as Mathematics 1322 or Mathematics 1635, calling ahead is recommended to see when instructors who are familiar with that specialty are available.
Appointments are not required, but are recommended for students with busy schedules or topics that are less familiar to the majority of instructors.
Videotapes are available for the following courses:
Mathematics 0460, 0470, 0481, 0482, 1102, 1108, 1220, 1428, 1431, 1432, 1635, 2231.
Fall and Spring Term Hours
Mondays to Fridays: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mondays to Thursdays: 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 9 a.m. to noon
Summer Term Hours
Mondays to Fridays: 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Mondays to Thursdays: 3:30 to 7 p.m.
Saturdays: 9 a.m. to noon
