The Skeleton FightMack Allen Smith
While having nothing to do
On a dark and rainy night
Well, I was cruising by the local graveyard
When I saw such a typical sight
Two bony skulls was digging
They was sticking right out of the ground
They were digging back to back
And neither of them looked around
Well, finally they both was out of the grave
And on the ground by a big tombstone
They set the fad I’ve never seen
They screamed, screeched, and moaned
Oh Lord, it was fight; it took place at night
Oh bony head was knocking
Skinny old bones was boppin’
And I was hit by a big headstone
And I was scared half to death
Well, one of them name is Thomas
While the other one’s name is Sam
And that’s what they called each other
As they rolled around the ground
Well, Sam he said to Thomas,
“You been buried too close to me
You know you keep me awake
With all the noise you make
And we’ll both [unintelligible]
Oh Lord, it was fight; it took place at night
Oh bony head was knocking
Skinny old bones was boppin’
And I was hit by a big headstone
And I was scared half to death
Well, whoever won this fight
I guess I’ll never know
Because my feet got into action
And away they did go
Just running over tree and bushes
And everything else in my way
I clean forgot my Olds 88
And it’s still back there today
Now if I go back to get it,
Somebody got to go with me
If won’t nobody go with me
Forever there it will be
Oh Lord, it was fight; it took place at night
Oh bony head was knocking
Skinny old bones was boppin’
And I was hit by a big headstone
And I was scared half to death
Oh Lord, it was fight; it took place at night
Oh bony head was knocking
Skinny old bones was boppin’
And I was hit by a big headstone
And I was scared half to death
