As an online student, you are strongly encouraged to contact your instructor whenever you need academic assistance and/or guidance regarding your specific course. Actively interacting with your instructor is critical to your success in online learning. You can find your instructor's email address in our online Faculty Directory.

By Appointment
Call or email for an appointment with an OIDCO staff member in person. We can provide orientation to online learning, help find course related information, demonstrate basic Blackboard features and navigation through a Bb course, and direct students to appropriate service areas for further assistance.

Academic Support
The Learning Commons offers an array of academic support services at the Glen Ellyn campus and the Bloomingdale, Naperville and Westmont regional centers. For more details, visit the Learning Commons website.

Local COD online students are encouraged to take advantage of Learning Commons. Assistance in Reading, Math, Writing and Speech are available as well as peer-tutoring services. Online tutoring for certain courses is available by submitting questions through this form.
