COD Online courses are equivalent in content to their on-campus counterparts. They follow the same curriculum guidelines and course objectives. Most online faculty also teach in the classroom. Students receive the same high-quality instruction as they would in an on-campus classroom. When online courses are completed successfully, they are recorded on the student's record in the same manner. Online learning provides easy access
to instruction. No matter where students are located,
they "attend" class
at times that best fit their schedules. They interact with the
instructor and fellow students via various online communication tools
including discussion board, chat room, and/or e-mail. Assignments and
tests are also completed online in most cases. Online classes aren't for everyone. Even if you are an excellent student, you may find that online classes are not compatible with your learning style. Before enrolling in your first online class, think about whether online learning is right for you by checking out your learning readiness and technical readiness for online learning.
