Gahlberg Gallery Art Exhibit — Susan Giles. Chicago artist Susan Giles closes the season with a video installation about travel and tourism. Giles' artwork stems from living a cumulative two years in India and Indonesia researching the intersection of tourism and culture. Giles' video work arises from her desire to understand what occurs at the root of common linguistic and tourist encounters, and examines the shaping of self and others abroad and at home.
