at the Older Adult Institute — Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Musical Genius. Mozart, regarded as one of the greatest geniuses of all time, was born in Salzburg, Austria, and died in Vienna at the age of 35. He is noted for his extraordinary achievements in opera, chamber music, symphonies and piano concerti. Gahlberg Gallery Art Exhibit — Amy Park and Philip Vanderhyden: Paintings
. Chicago painters Amy Park and Philip Vanderhyden follow an architectural theme in the form of painting. Park explores ideas of innovation and isolation in her large-scale watercolor paintings of modern architecture. Vanderhyden paints vertical abstract oil paintings that appear as layers of varied skins that recall architectural materials and industrial surfaces.
