(Finnish, 97 minutes, 2002). Directed by Aki Kaurismaki. A man awakens
after a brutal mugging with no memory and wanders into the outskirts
of Helsinki. A destitute family helps nurse him back to health and a
Salvation Army worked named Irma helps him get a job. Though bureaucrats
and policemen can't seem to cope with the man's lack of established
identity, the amnesiac plants potatoes, manages a rock and roll band

Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare. Directed by Tim
Klein. Considered shocking during Shakespeare's age, this play has become
a much-performed Shakespearean piece in the last 30 years because of

characters, hypocrisy and the struggle of ethics are explored in this

SIMPARCH and Paul Cekan present an overview of recent discoveries of
ancient icon codes that relate meaning across the ages, the cultures

puzzles, tricks relating counterparts of conceptual patterns are shown

Buffalo Theatre Ensemble
presents The Baltimore Waltz by Paula Vogel, directed
by Amelia Barrett. Silly and poignant, a brother and sister take a whirlwind

she can flee her family and Cahit won't be alone anymore, mourning his

but gradually, their marriage of convenience starts to resemble the
