Gahlberg Gallery Art Exhibit — Kevin Hamilton: Department of Rhythmanalysis — DuPage Alert System. The Department of Rhythmanalysis implements site-specific alarm systems that monitor the status of a variety of remote and local conditions. Coincidental events at home and abroad are announced through an audible alert - more frequent changes are indicated through a series of analog visual indicators. Through this and other efforts, the Department explores the potential of examining irregular temporal events as rhythmic, and thus more capable of change. A London sex specialist from the future stumbles into a murder plot that sends her traveling back in time. She and two women who were murdered two decades earlier race back and forth in time, trying to rewrite history and prevent their own violent ends.
