Council
on Library/Media Technicians (COLT)
COLT, an affiliate of the American Library Association,
has addressed the issues of concern to library support
staff personnel
since 1967. These include topics such as technical
education, continuing education, certification, job description
uniformity, and gaining recognition and respect for
the
very professional
work that we do. COLT also functions as a clearinghouse
for information relating to library support staff personnel.
