Portfolio Expo Set for May 14
Professional portfolios created by College of DuPage Library Practicum students will be on display in the Student Resource Center (SRC), Room 2800 on Wednesday, May 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Area librarians, students and all interested persons are invited to view the portfolios.
Attendees will review excellent models of library workers’ portfolios, talk to students about the “Library Practicum” and portfolio creation and gain an awareness of the unique contributions that Library Technical Assistants are making to the library profession.
LTA Club
The LTA club is a forum for discussion as well as field trips and guest speakers relating to our field. Club members toured the Argonne National Laboratory’s main library on their last field trip and received an interesting and informative look into the world of special libraries.
The club can also explore job hunting strategies and helpful web sites for finding work in the library field.
Interested persons are welcome to attend an LTA Club meeting with fellow students in the Library and Information Technology Program
