A
cohort of 12 students successfully completed a two-year student-centered
InET learning program. Half of those students transferred to
four-year schools like UIC and Bradley. The Rexam Corporation
offered one of C.O.D.’s AAS graduates a job with a $67,000
annual salary.

The
Electronics Technology program participated in the Viking Project
with World Business Chicago (WBC). The project seeks about 200
Electromechanical and InET graduates to work in the pharmaceutical
industry.

C.O.D.
Electronics students took part in DuPage County’s
Women in Skilled Trades, an eight-week program that prepares women
to work in skilled trades.
The
Electronics program also participated in the Pathfinder Summer
Exploration Program, in which 24 Pathfinders enjoyed three weeks
of career exploration and an introduction to technology. [ Visit

Electronics program took part in a week-long Teen X-Treme day
camp on the C.O.D. campus. About 20 students from area schools
learned about robotics and electronics while building robots. |
