Where
can I take the Constitution Test for the GED?
The
GED Constitution Test is administered on campus in the Berg Instructional
Center (IC), Assessment and Testing Lab, Room 100.
Assessment
and Testing Lab hours are:
Monday and Tuesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Please call (630) 942-2580 to inquire about hours during semester
breaks.
A photo
ID must be presented for the GED Constitution Test to be administered.
How
can I prepare for the GED Constitution Test?
The College of DuPage Bookstore sells study guides in English and Spanish.
Is
an appointment required to take the GED Constitution Test?
No appointment is necessary; however, the test must be completed 10
minutes prior to the posted Assessment and Testing Lab closing time.
Is
there a fee for taking the GED Constitution Test?
There is no fee to take the Constitution Test.

• It is not offered on a computer.
• It addresses the United States and Illinois constitutions, the
Declaration of Independence and the U.S. flag.
• It is scored pass/fail.
• It can be taken as many times as needed.
• The GED Constitution Test is offered in English and Spanish.
I
passed the Constitution Test already. What do I do?
Present one of the following to the GED Testing office.
An
official high school transcript in a sealed envelope that includes your
Constitution information.
-or-
A letter on official letterhead signed by the high school registrar
or director of Adult Education verifying the student has passed the
Illinois and United States Constitution Test.
