DuPage County residents who do not have a U.S. high school diploma can take the GED Test.

Individuals who live outside of DuPage County must call the Regional Office of Education at (630) 407-5813 for permission to take the GED Tests in DuPage County.

Test-takers must be at least 17 years old.  

Test-takers 17 to 21 who have been in school in the past 12 months need to provide a letter from their high school on official letterhead with the following:

• Test-taker’s name
• Social Security number and/or date of birth
• Official withdrawal date
