Bradley University is a participant in the IAI (General Education Core Curriculum and/or the Illinois Baccalaureate Majors' Curricula).
There is transfer information covering a wide variety of topics in the "General Transfer Information" section of the Advising Handbook. The handbook is located in Counseling, Transfer and Advising Services (SRC-2044) and may be useful to students.
Transfer students must have a minimum 2.0 G.P.A. for all courses completed and be in good standing for admission to Bradley. Students must send a $35 application fee and a transcript from each college attended. A high school transcript must also be sent and ACT and/or SAT scores if transferring with less than 23 quarter hours. Some majors require G.P.A. above 2.0. Calculus is recommended for business, engineering, biology, and chemistry majors.
Bradley will accept a maximum of 99 quarter hours from College of DuPage. Grades of "D" are transferable only if a 2.0 G.P.A. has been achieved at the institution at which the course was taken. "D" grades will not transfer into the Colleges of Business or Engineering.
Bradley University does not accept College of DuPage's A.A. or A.S. degree as meeting all general education requirements. Students must complete Bradley's Basic Skills and General Education requirements prior to graduation from Bradley but not for admission. However, COD students should attempt to complete as many of Bradley's Basic Skill and General Education requirements as possible while at College of DuPage.
Business and engineering majors should consult the COD - Bradley University articulation agreements (2+2 Guides) for a complete outline of degree requirements.
