Air Conditioning 1112
Residential Refrigeration, 3 credit hours, Analysis of the
operation of refrigeration systems, leak detection, leak repair, charging,
component, replacements, schematic reading and troubleshooting domestic
refrigerator and window air conditioning units. Prerequisites: Air
Conditioning 1100, 1105 and 1110. (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours)
Electronics Technology 1195
Special Topics in Electronics Technology, 2 to 3 credit hours, Critical
discussion, review and analysis of a selected topic in the subtitle
of the source as listed in the Class Schedule. May be taken three
times for credit if different topics are selected each time. Prerequisite:
One year of high school algebra or Mathematics 1115. (2 lecture hours,
2 lab hours)
Electronics Technology 1199
Cooperative Education/Internship I, 1 to 6 credit hours, A work experience
integrating classroom theory with on-the-job training. Specific performance
objectives are developed by the student and faculty Co-op adviser,
with the approval of the employer, to provide the appropriate work
experience for the student. A total of 55 to 330 hours of experience
are needed for 1 to 6 hours of credit. Prerequisites: Written permission
of the Co-op Education office and faculty Co-op adviser and completion
of 18 hours of course work in a major field with a 2.0 cumulative
grade point average. Consent of instructor. (30 lab hours)
