An intimate theater, the warm company of friends, a glass of wine, and a one-of-a-kind arts experience — it all awaits you at the cultural hub of the western suburbs. Welcome to the 2007-2008 season at the McAninch Arts Center.
Turn these pages and you will see the best and most diverse arts programming available to Chicago suburbanites covering Jazz, Blues, Dance, Folk/ Pop, World, Classical and Theater. We start the season with the rhythm and heat of Miami-based Cuban ensemble Tiempo Libre, move to jazz sax master Jimmy Heath, our next guest is Diavolo, the San Francisco extreme dance ensemble, then on to the comedy of “Weird Al” Yankovic — and that is just part of September.
We invite you to visit a place where you can connect with a singer or an artist, share an evening with friends, or perhaps embrace a rare moment, what Oprah calls “a spirit-to-spirit connection.” It’s all right here in your own backyard. See you at the MAC.
See you at the MAC!
