In the summer of 2006, a Lebanese-American writer-performer brought her Jewish husband to Lebanon for the first time only to find their visit interrupted by the Israeli-Hizbullah war. In the Crossing is a storytelling performance based on a true story of love, conflict and unexpected connections.
Leila Buck is an Arab-American actress, writer and teaching artist. For the past nine years she has performed her one-woman shows, ISite and In the Crossing, across the country and around the world. Leila is currently completing her master’s degree in Drama for Education about the Arab World at New York University. She is a founding member of Mixed Company and Nibras, a Usual Suspect with NYTW, and a member of the Public Theater’s first Emerging Writers Group.

The Student Activities Program Board is proud to present a night “out” with Trixie, Winnie, Rachel and Trampolina, otherwise known as the Kinsey Sicks. Blending rich a cappella harmonies and madcap comedy, these girls have become an international sensation, as well as the title of America’s Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet.
