C.O.D. HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR STUDENT SUMMER THEATER
General auditions for the 39th season of College of DuPage’s summer repertory theater will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, and from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, May 3, in the Studio Theater at the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) at the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.
The summer repertory theater includes productions of “Town Mouse/Country Mouse,” an improvisation show directed by Connie Canaday Howard, from June 10 to July 12, and “Of Mice and Men,” directed by Amelia Barrett, from June 26 to July 12.
No experience is required. “Town Mouse/Country Mouse” auditions include improvisation. “Of Mice and Men” auditions include cold script readings. Monologues are options. All those auditioning should wear loose-fitting clothes.
Callbacks, if necessary, will be held 7 to 10 p.m. Monday, May 4. A tentative cast list will be available at noon Tuesday, May 5.
