Since forming in 1994, this ensemble of talented musicians has developed and popularized many original arrangements of Mexican son and fandango and has experimented cross-culturally with symphonic, Irish, folk, country and western, jazz and rock music. Sones “moves seamlessly between styles and instruments playing with rock ‘n’ roll energy without sacrificing cultural authenticity.” — Chicago Tribune
