Friday and Saturday, Jan. 8 and 9, 2010, 8 p.m.Master bluesman John Hammond has spent more than 40 years entertaining audiences around the world. Hammond is a Grammy winner, multiple W.C. Handy award winner and has shared the stage with the likes of Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and Howlin’ Wolf. In this solo acoustic evening, John delivers the deepest and most intense interpretations of everything from early blues songs to his recent original compositions.
