Canadian recording artists Leahy are calling out to all young dancers in the Chicago area to join them on stage during their up-coming February 29 concert at the McAninch Arts Center.The deserving dancer will have the unique opportunity to dance with the band during their award-winning song “The Call to Dance”. In addition to this, the dancer will receive 4 tickets to the show and Leahy’s new Live CD and DVD.
Young people who have any level of experience in any “traditional” style of dance such as clog, Irish, Highland, step-dancing or tap, are invited to enter this exciting contest.
Dancers should submit a short paragraph of no more than 100 words explaining why they should be “called to dance.” Entries must be emailed to: themac@cod.edu by Feb. 21.
The winning entry will be selected on Feb. 22 and will be notified by the McAninch Arts Center.
