Mozart, Requiem, K.626
Schubert, Symphony no. 9

Only Mozart’s tremendous Requiem, the showpiece of his lasting legacy, could follow our Mahler concerts. The Maestro conducts New Philharmonic, four soloists, and a chorus of more than 125 singers assembled especially for this occasion by Lee R. Kesselman. Kirk’s musical “Boot Kamp” will enlist you into Mozart’s world when he was composing this epic. Fittingly, “The Great,” Schubert’s Ninth Symphony completes this extraordinary musical evening.
