November is a month filled with memories — of Veterans’ sacrifices, of New England Thanksgivings, of the loss of an American president, of times joyful, somber and historic. Herbert Howells’ stunning Take Him, Earth, for Cherishing, written in memory of John F. Kennedy, will anchor our November concert. Other selections include Americana music by Kirke Mechem, Eleanor Daley, William Billings, Aaron Copland and Daniel Brewbaker.
