Michele
Stobbe graduated
from UIC with a bachelor’s degree in social
work. Her graduate studies include masters’ degrees in adult
and continuing education as well as educational counseling. She is
a national certified
counselor who has worked in higher education for the past 10 years.
Michele loves the variety and diversity that working in a community
college brings. She thoroughly enjoys working with students as well
as teaching. Courses taught include Orientation (College
Survival Skills) as well as Diversity/Social Justice. Michele
has also served on several college committees,
including The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Advocacy Team.
Michele enjoys working with students as they find meaning in
their college experience. She appreciates and admires students who
pursue education
as a means for growth and enjoys the opportunity to assist them in
their endeavors.
