Meet the Counseling Faculty


Barbara Fried is a National Board Certified Counselor. She has a master of art’s degree from Bowling Green State University. In the mid 80s, she returned to school and obtained an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a certified financial planner (CFP) and has been doing financial planning for the last 17 years. She enjoys helping people whether it is with career and educational goals at College of DuPage or helping individuals establish long-term financial goals in her consulting business. She has been a part-time counselor at the college for 22 years and loves her work with students and members of the community.
