At College of DuPage, you can pick up core classes during your summer break from another college or university. Then transfer the credit back with you.
Just follow these easy steps:
• If you have never applied to or attended, complete the online Admission Form. Indicate "other" as the primary reason for attending C.O.D.
• Speak to your university/college adviser and find out about transfer guidelines.
• Obtain a copy of your transcripts. PLEASE NOTE: If it’s taking longer than expected to get your transcripts for a course that requires prerequisites, you can still get into the classes you want through provisional registration. However, the college must receive your transcripts three weeks after your course begins to prove prerequisites have been met; otherwise, you will be dropped.
• If your course requires a placement test before registration, visit the Assessment and Testing Lab, Berg Instructional Center (IC), Room 100, as soon as you return home.
• Register for classes as close as possible to the date and time listed on your registration letter.
• Pay by the tuition payment deadline that’s on your schedule/statement of classes/fees to avoid being dropped.
That’s it. Welcome to College of DuPage, and enjoy your summer class!
