Did you know that College of DuPage has an Honors
Program? Outstanding high school students are increasingly
choosing to pursue the first two years of their college education
in the Honors Program and frequently transfer to highly selective
four-year colleges and universities, including Duke, University
of California at Berkeley, University of Chicago, Northwestern,
Notre Dame, Cornell, Penn State and University of Illinois at
Urbana/Champaign, to name a few. Honors courses are enriched,
not accelerated in the same sense that high school advanced placement
courses are, giving a student the opportunity to experience course
material in greater depth. Honors Scholars are eligible for an
in-district tuition waiver for Honors courses.
Everyone needs a little help now and then. We offer
many student services to help you succeed. From math,
speech
and writing
assistance areas to tutoring
services to Special
Student Services for students with disabilities, a variety
of sources are waiting to assist you.
