Diagnostic Medical Imaging Sonography (Ultrasound) is a medical imaging modality that utilizes high-frequency sound waves to produce images of various organs within the body for medical interpretation and diagnosis by a physician.

The most utilized and well-known application of Ultrasound is producing images of a baby prior to birth.

Our program is a 15-month Advanced Certificate program that provides an education in the general specialty of Sonography. Students receive hands-on training in the areas of Abdominal and Superficial Organs, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and general applications of physics. Upon completion of the program, students receive an Advanced Certificate and can apply to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers for certification.
