Sandra Anderson, Ph.D.
Professor of Spanish
College of DuPage
As Associate Professor of Spanish at College of DuPage,
Sandra Anderson holds a B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. from Northwestern University
in Evanston, Ill. She has been director of the Costa Rica program for
the past four years and has traveled in Spain, Mexico, Guatemala and
Cuba. Anderson was also research assistant to the director of Northwestern’s
Study Abroad program in Seville, Spain. Before joining the faculty at
C.O.D., she taught Spanish language and literature at Northwestern.
In addition to her academic interests, Anderson enjoys art and gardening.

Patricia Kramer
Associate Professor of English
Rock Valley College
Patricia Kramer is an Associate Professor of English
at Rock Valley College who teaches not only classes in English but also
classes in Latin American and Spanish literature. She also teaches a
course in Spanish Conversation at the Rock Valley Center for Learning
and Retirement. Kramer has a bachelor's degree in English and Spanish,
and an M.A. degree in Teaching English. She has traveled extensively
throughout Europe, most frequently in Spain. She has served as the co-director
twice for both the Costa Rica and Spain programs. Her interest in Spanish
and Latin American culture and language is ongoing, and she's looking
forward to spending time with this summer's program participants as
they study and experience Spanish culture first-hand.
