Innovation
Incubator discussion leaders research innovative teaching/learning topics
and disseminate what they learn through discussions and other means.
The goal is to involve as many faculty members as possible in the process
of innovation to improve learning.
The discussion
leaders hope to inspire smaller innovations and improvements to teaching
and learning among a larger number of faculty.
In
order to achieve the goals, each discussion leader:
• Investigates/researches
new or innovative methods to improve teaching or learning in a specific
area (to be determined by the Discussion Leader and Innovation Incubator).
• Summarizes/synthesizes the findings of the investigation/research.
• Disseminates the findings within the specified area.
•
Leads at least three discussion sessions with faculty in the specified
area.
• Monitors and reports to the Innovation
Incubator the results of these efforts.
