Placement Testing
Tests in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics are administered to entering students and used to determine the appropriate placement into courses. New students carrying eight or more credits are required to take the Reading Placement Test. Students are required to take a placement test before registering for English composition. Enrollment in selected mathematics courses also requires completion of the Math Placement Test.
