CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The architectural profession consists of three distinct phases: design, drafting and supervision of construction. Each activity, though related, requires a different type of training.

To meet the needs of students interested in an architectural career, College of DuPage offers three options:

Pre-Architecture for those interested in a baccalaureate or higher degree,

Architecture Technology for those interested in the technical areas of architectural construction, and

Construction Management for those interested in entry-level positions in contruction management and construction firms.

Students interested in pursuing advanced degrees in architecture are advised to take the Pre-Architecture program. Students interested in careers related to construction, construction management and development are advised to take one of the Architecture options. Check with future transfer institutions for specific recommendations.
