The GED Preparation program is for adults who lack a high school diploma,
have good reading skills and need to prepare to take the GED test to
earn a high school equivalency certificate. The GED Preparation classes
offer integrated instruction in the five areas covered on the GED test:
social studies, science, interpreting literature and the arts, mathematics,
and writing skills. Instruction is also offered on the U.S. and Illinois
Constitutions, and a test covering these areas must be passed if it
was not passed in high school. A math skills class is also offered.
Instruction
is available in English or Spanish for the integrated GED classes.
For
program information, call (630) 942-3697 or (630) 942-2562. Spanish
language assistance is available.
