Sandra Anderson
Associate Professor of Spanish
College of DuPage

Sandra Anderson holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from Northwestern University. She led the College of DuPage Spain Summer Study Abroad program in 2007, 2009 and 2010 and served as director of the Costa Rica program for four years, including 2011. She also has directed COD programs in Peru and Italy and has traveled in Mexico, Guatemala, Bolivia, Morocco and Cuba. Before joining the COD faculty, she taught Spanish language and literature at Northwestern and was research assistant to the director of Northwestern’s Study Abroad program in Seville, Spain. In addition to her academic interests, Anderson enjoys many kinds of music, reading, art and the great outdoors.
